The wild russian pet
By
In Russia sometimes they dare to have wild animals like pets.
There are no any law regulations on what pets you can keep and what you can’t, no PETA, no need to pick up your little friend’s poo in special bags. You can walk with your pet anywhere on the street or public park, no any single “no pets allowed” signs outside. Some call it chaos others call it freedom, you decide yourself.
Meanwhile some photos of such wild pet living with people in just a small regular flat in big multistored building.

The fishing cat is rare here in America but the love of the big cat is shared and so to the clean up from our desire to adapt to the customs of our house cats. I have a few domestics who live and accept one male cougar, one male barred king cheetah, and three Florida bobcats as room mates. These animals have taught me a lot about the language barrier and how trust overcomes it very quickly. Seeing this couple with their life exposed is like looking in a mirror and May all in their world be as they wish it to be.

As quaint as it may be to possess one of these gorgeous, rare, and endangered animals ~ the key word here is endangered ~ they should be in a protected facility where they can receive what they need and have an environment more conducive to their species’ physical requirements. The people who now have this cat obviously love it and are doing the best they can to provide for it. Since Russia has no animal regulations,I think the cat is better off with these people. But in a place like the U.S., although seemingly over~regulated, it would be harder to possess one,(if not impossible as it is endangered) and there are good facilities run by people who love and nurture animals who could provide a bigger, better and even and outdoor place for this species to thrive and hopefully, have a chance at recovering. I am no expert, but I think an endangered species needs to be protected from the general public, who although, meaning well, may not be able to meet the real needs of such an animal. I am glad that this particular animal does appear to be in a loving environment. I hope it’s future is secure…

Actually, exotics should be left in the wild where they belong.
There is a HUGE difference between animals like cats and dogs, which have been domesticated for thousands of years at this point, and are genetically hard-wired to co-exist with people, and exotic designer pets, which are still wild creatures, even if they were born and raised in captivity. It’s not fair to them and their nature to force them to try to live like house pets when they so obviously are not. No matter how well-loved and well-cared for they are.
Also, a warning about the dead chicken would’ve been nice. I was eating.

I agree with you DJC.
Although I wonder… do you eat chicken? If so, what’s the problem?

If there are “no sings” it only means that there are no signs with pictures (most Russians can read), so you probably just didn’t recognise them and there are regulations about this sort of pets. As well I’m pretty sure that owners of this cat are working in the circle or have some sort of experience of work with animals.

@Kat: Actually there are more literate Russians (99.5%) than Americans (99.0%). Good try though, play again.

This was adorable until it showed up in the kitchen with a dead chicken. Eat all the chickens you want, Giant Kitty. Just leave that shit outside.
