L’Equipe reports that Adrien Rabiot has supported Olympique Marseille since he was a child, despite growing up in Paris and being a product of the PSG youth system.
The French midfielder emerged from the youth system at Paris Saint-Germain, and has progressed through the ranks to the senior side, making his debut in 2012.
However, personal issues with the Parisian club meant Rabiot’s departure from PSG did not end well, with the 29-year-old moving to Juventus.
But now Rabiot’s contract with Juventus has expired since July and he still has no official new club, despite being link with several clubs in the past.
Olympique Marseille have confirmed an agreement has been reach between the two parties, with Rabiot’s next step being a medical, with both parties set to sign a short-term deal if it goes well.
However, L’Equipe did not miss the opportunity to raise the issue between OM and PSG, with the major French media outlet revealing that Rabiot has been a fan of and has been a supporter of Marseille since he was a child, even though he was a product of the famous Paris team.
L’Equipe quoted a source from Marseille’s management as saying that Rabiot has always loved Marseille and has been a loyal supporter of the club in the south of France, which led to the successful negotiations with OM.
It is expect that this case will cause a lot of Promotion Ufabet dissatisfaction among the Parisians fans. And if Rabiot ends up with Marseille officially, it will make the PSG fans wait for a lot in Le Classic.
