Manchester United have signed Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford for an initial fee of £65 million. The 25-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
Mbeumo’s move comes seven weeks after Manchester United made a bid for the Cameroonian. Ending one of the longest deals of the summer.

United’s third offer, worth an initial £65m plus a further £6m in bonuses, was accept last week.

The winger is expect to be in the squad for Thursday’s pre-season tour of the United States.
Mbeumo has scored 70 goals and provided 51 assists in 242 games for Brentford since joining from Troyes in 2019.
The Cameroonian scored 20 goals and provided seven assists in the Premier League last season, both record highs.
Mbeumo’s move becomes Brentford’s record transfer fee. Surpassing Ivan Toney’s £40m move to Al Ahly in August 2024.
